God always blesses us with another sunrise. I just thought I'd share it with you.
This is my life. My thoughts, my feelings, and the things I spend my time doing and loving. Take your time, but not too much of it--it's far too valuable. Most of all, enjoy the adventure!

Amidst all the mayhem...
This world is crazy. The political and social situation in America is unreal. Times seem tough. And it's just these kinds of times that we should sit back, take some time, and ponder an amazing sunrise. This is today's sunrise.
If that doesn't make you feel good, very little else will. God is still out there.

Another fabulous sunrise in Utah
I just woke up about an hour and a half ago. I was trying to get my new phone to work. It's a smarter phone than I used to have and I can't figure out how to get it to detect the wifi in our house. Right now, I'm waiting for my son-in-law, Justin, who lives in our basement, to wake up so that he can get it running for me--I've spent enough frustrating time on it already.
When I finally decided to let someone with more experience help me, I put down the phone and looked out the window and saw this:
Sometimes, we just need to put down the gadgets and see what there is to see around us. I'm glad I did.

Another beautiful sunrise
There are homes all around mine, but I was able to capture part of a beautiful sunrise, just by going around the block and finding a more open spot. Not perfect, but you get the idea:
Yeah, it was amazing! I hope wherever you are, you got to see something like this today.

Sharing the sunrise
This is what the sunrise looked like from my house this morning. This is actually just after its peak. I got sidetracked just before I was going to take the picture because Ann needed something.
Still, I think it's pretty awesome!

This and that
A beautiful sunrise this morning. As I turned around and headed back along the canal on my morning run, I couldn't help but notice the fire in the sky. I look east a lot. Especially in the morning when the sun is rising. I always think of my favorite people to share the sunrise with.
I weighed myself a couple of days ago and weighed in at 190.5 lbs. That's down from my original weight when I started my trimming program of 193. My goal ends on July 1st and I hope to be at my optimal weight for the Sandy 4th of July 5k. I actually weighed 189 wearing nothing but flip flops. Okay, no jokes... I kind of wish they weighed you in the buff at doctor's offices because those Wrangler's, shoes, shirts, etc., added about three pounds to my actual weight. Especially since those tables for height versus weight don't figure in the weight of your clothing (or hair for that matter--I've weighed up to a pound less after a hair cut).
Life is great. Keep happy. Keep smiling.
